New Survey Shows Demand for the Green Restroom

The results are in, and there’s good news for the green restroom! Bradley Corporation just released its annual Healthy Handwashing Survey and we at Sustainable Supply couldn’t be more excited. Every year the good folks at Bradley shed some much-needed light on what people experience in restrooms all over the country, and we believe that every business owner should take note.

According to the survey, the top requests people have for restrooms are for the fixtures to be touchless, the space to be clean, and materials stocked better. Can you spot the connection between these results and a green restroom?

While cleanliness and stocking levels are necessary, those are problems that can be easily solved by increasing the frequency of maintenance visits. The result to take NOTICE of is the expectation that fixtures in the restroom are TOUCHLESS. So that’s the good news because the goals of the green bathroom and the benefits of the touchless fixture are aligned.

Green restrooms are resource efficient, use products that do not impact human health, and products that enable environmental sustainability. Resource efficiency simply means saving money by using less water and electricity. Products that don’t have a negative impact on human health or environmental sustainability are toxin-free and manufactured with materials that have been diverted from landfills, or that can be recycled, etc.

The touchless fixture in the restroom is a great way to save money through resource efficiency.

These are all the products that can help you achieve a touchless, green restroom, most of which are available in our Bradley SuperStore.

Though lighting could be responsible for 30% of your building’s energy consumption, that also provides you with the opportunity to create big savings, especially if you currently have incandescents in your facility.
